2011年12月4日に平塚総合公園にて開催された平塚市民・大学スポーツフェスタにてペタンクの啓蒙活動を行いました。約50名の方々がペタンクを体験してくれました。　大学側から手伝いに来てくれたのは、神奈川大学の軟式野球部の諸君。　写真は彼らがペタンクを楽しむ様子です。　投げてるのはピッチャーで、なかなかの才能。　野球も素晴らしいが、こういう才能溢れるヤングスターがペタンクで世界を目指してくれると嬉しいのですが・・・　体験者に率先する形で、野球部の諸君が、ペタンクを楽しんでくれました。　スポーツとしてのペタンクの啓蒙に、彼らは十分健闘してくださいました。ありがとう！　また来て欲しいものです。
Hiratsuka Citizen and University Sports Festival has taken place on December 4th 2011. Approximatery 50 people have come to our booth to enjoy their first trial of petanque. From the university side, Baseball team of Kanagawa U.have come as assistant students at our booth. The picture shows the moment when the pitcher of the team has thrown a boule. He showed substantial talent to become a good player. We are aware that baseball is great sport, however we could not help not to wish to have such youngstars with talent to pursue their dream to be in the national team to compete internationally… Their contribution to promote petanque as sport was great. Thank you guys! We hope to have them again in our session.
